ID Analytics Adds to the ID Network New PC Identification Capability from The 41st
Parameter
Partnership Offers ID Network Members New Layer of
Protection Against Online Fraud
SCOTTSDALE, AZ. – November 13, 2006 – The 41st
Parameter, a leader in agentless, covert fraud detection and
prevention for the online channel, today announced a
partnership agreement with ID Analytics, Inc., the Identity
Risk Management company, to license its PCPrint™ technology
which identifies individual PCs and other devices online.
PCPrint will become another identity variable
within the ID Network™, a real-time identity fraud prevention
system that is analyzed by Graph Theoretic Anomaly Detection®
(GTAD®), ID Analytics' advanced pattern recognition
technology. GTAD culls through dozens of identity variables
contributed across multiple industries looking for real and
suspicious behavior patterns. The output of this ongoing
analysis powers ID Analytics' comprehensive suite of Identity
Risk Management solutions.
“PCPrint brings a powerful, real-time PC and
device recognition capability to our ID Network,” said Bruce
Hansen, chairman and CEO of ID Analytics. “By adding this new
parameter to our ID Network, our solutions can more accurately
detect and prevent suspect transactions and identity fraud in
the online world.”
PCPrint invisibly collects more than 41
machine parameters from any online device, generating a
digital “fingerprint” used to identify in real-time legitimate
versus suspect PCs visiting a website. The product can
differentiate individual devices regardless of past
registration, the credentials presented or the Internet
connection (IP Address). Capable of generating 1.461
quindecillion (or 1048) unique device
“fingerprints,” the product can identify legitimate versus
suspect PCs with unprecedented accuracy.
“PCPrint provides yet another layer of
protection to ID Analytics' best-in-class Identity Risk
Management solutions,” said Ori Eisen, founder and chairman of
The 41st Parameter. “Combining PCPrint with the ID Network
will offer ID Network Members new advantages in combating
Internet fraud and identity theft.”
