FFIEC Guidance
On October 12, 2005 The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) issued new guidance on customer authentication for online banking services. The guidance states that US banks will be expected to comply with the rules by the end of 2006.
Know Your Customer. Online.
The 41st Parameter's PhishingNet™ solution enables financial institutions to provide a layered security approach as outlined by the FFIEC guidance. Our covert approach to detection enhances security measures already in place at banks and financial organizations by providing the ability to immediately differentiate between legitimate and fraudulent users on their websites, even when User IDs and passwords have been compromised.
PhishingNet's™ multi-factor authentication is performed without a change in the user's behavior or installing any software on the consumer's device. The solution is invisible to the users and allows accurate detection of multiple instances of account compromise performed by the same device (PC, PDA, etc.)
